HitchHiker Productions was founded in 2025 by Jonathan Lill.
Jon had always had a passion for creatively capturing visuals and wanted to bring that enthusiasm to his home county of Shropshire. Being born and bred in Telford, he knows the local area well and knows it’s fantastic potential for stories.
Jonathan has a background in scripting and screenwriting and has placed in several international competitions. Some of these include the Nicholl Fellowship and the Screencraft fellowship.
He studied at the National Film and Television School in 2024 where he completed a course in Screenwriting under the tutelage of Paul Fraser.
Jonathan was chosen to attend the BFI Directors Series in 2025 where he learned valuable lessons in filmmaking and production.
Jonathan’s first short film ‘One Shot’ is currently doing the festival circuit and generating interest, while his second short film ‘Eulogy’ is in post-production awaiting its premiere for later in the year.
